Site Upgrade: Ponopolis Gets a New Home

It was time for an upgrade. After years of running Ponopolis on a small static page, I decided it was finally time to do things right. Now the site is running on WordPress, which means it’s a lot easier to keep things up to date and share news—like book releases and the occasional story from the road.
It’s also way more dynamic now. Whether you’re on a laptop or just scrolling through your phone in some backwater bar, the new site actually looks good.
A big thanks to WordPress for making site-building simple and smooth, and an even bigger thanks to the folks at Compete Themes for their clean, sharp “Author” template. The new Gutenberg editor is a real game-changer—building and editing pages now feels less like wrestling with code and more like actually writing.
The goal? Make it easier to add new content, share updates, and give readers a better way to follow along. So, if you see something new around here, that’s why. Thanks for sticking around—and keep an eye on this page for more news soon.
